HP-01 Semi-Open Audiophile Headphones
This project was part of a three-day challenge to bring a product from ideation to rendering within a short amount of time. In the span of three days, this pair of headphones went through the stages of sketching, 3D-CAD, and rendering.
The result is a pair of headphones that are a departure from the usual black and gray set of cans. From the side view the user can see the depth from the gold trimmed curved glass revealing the inner structure and down into the beryllium driver. These are an open-back set of headphones, the outer mesh grilles allow the driver to function without having to overcome air pressure, providing superior sound quality.
